Papercraft classes are available at our Mentone shop. Here are some of our regular classes

STOP THE PRESS!!  Bonus long weekend Scrap night, Friday 9th March. The class has been extended till midnight at the same cost of $14. That gives you 4.5 hours of scrapping madness.

Children's Parties. Parties with a difference. Check out our expanded list of parties for children of all ages. Parties

Open Scrapbooking 7.30pm to 10.30pm. This is your opportunity to use our equipment and receive expect guidance to create wonderful memories from your photos.

PhotoShop Workshop. This is a four week course in which Ro Bruhn will teach you how to make the most of your digital images using the popular Photoshop software. In week 1 you will be introduced to Toolbars, scanning and general cleaning. Week 2 covers filters with colour and polarization. Week 3 is cloning, editing, deleting and replacing. Week 4 teaches you how to write text over images.  Spaces are limited to six. Cost is $250 and the course runs from 7pm to 10pm on the 12th February trough to the 5th March. (Printer facilities available at an extra cost).

Altered Books An Altered Book can be anything you want it to be e.g. journal, visual diary, family photos, travel diary, recipe book or just somewhere to stick all those pictures and clippings one gathers over the years but doesn't want to through away. You can make your own Altered Book in this all day workshop. Come and give it a try and let your creativity flow - it's hassle free art - there are NO rules.  Ro Bruhn is an internationally known artist, you can view her work  at  http://web.mac.com/robruhn Course dates to be confirmed, stay tuned.

Beginners Scrapbooking Course This is an ideal workshop for those wanting to learn simple techniques and design concepts. Each week you will design a new layout using papers, tearing techniques, chipboard, rub-ons, stickers, distressing, paints, inks, punches and lots more. Cheryl will show you how to make 4 super layouts over 4 weeks. Cost of all materials, papers, stickers, embellishments & colours are included. Students also learn to use the workshop cutting systems, glues and equipment. Cost: $50.00 for 4 weeks. Dates: 12^th February to 5^th March.

Teen Craft Classes (Mentone) are an opportunity for the secondary school students to learn a new craft each week. These are very popular classes and students and teachers are having a ball. Eight week course starts Friday 2nd February.

ATC Group. Our small (but growing!!) group of ATC (Artist Trading Card) enthusiasts meets on the 1st Thursday of each month, at 7.30pm. ATCs are basically swap cards for big kids/grown ups who love playing with paper/embellishments etc. There is no commitment to come every month. Come in and have a chat and a look at our many samples. Warning: you may get hooked! The holiday program class in March introduced some our younger crafters to ATCs and they loved them. Cost:$10.00. Bookings are essential. Returns on Thursday 1st February 7.30pm.

All Day Scrap Booking  Selected Saturdays 9.30am to 5.00pm and Sundays 10am to 5pm. Cost $20.00, Spend the whole day with us scrapping to your hearts content. Expert advice is on hand to help out with those special layouts. Cost includes use of all cutting systems, punches, pens and glues, morning and afternoon teas. BYO Lunch.  It is great to be in such an inspirational atmosphere. Next Date: Saturday 31st March 9.30am to 5pm. (Sunday 4th March has been cancelled, sorry)

Mother Daughter Scrapbooking ( for the 12 to 18 year olds) and Beginners Scrapbooking. These are a great opportunities for mums and daughters (or granddaughters) to spend together developing a hobby that they can share at any age. For those wanting to start this wonderful craft and are clueless about where to start we are running beginners classes with our regular M/D class on the second Friday of the month. This is your opportunity to learn the basics before you move onto our Open Scrapbooking Class. Returns Friday 9th February 7.30 to 9.30pm.

Card Marking Classes. There will be a great variety card making classes to give you lots of inspiration for every occasion that you may have. New classes commence Tuesday 6th February 7.30 to 10pm.
